MY LAST SUMMER

Greetings

Hi, good morning everyone. My name is Albert and I’m fourteen.

Introduce your talk

Today, I’m going to talk about “my last summer”.

General explanation
First, I’m going to explain my English holidays in Britain. Then, I’m going to talk about my family holidays in different regions from Africa. I did a safari.

Main body
Some of you have gone to England this summer.
-Exactly I went to Bournemouth, small city near London. There, you can learn and you can have fun too. There you can know new people from different countries: Turkish, France, and Italia…

- In August, I went with my family to Africa. We stayed in different villages from Kenya. I did a safari. First I visited Ambos Eli, there I saw many different animals: elephants, lions, zebras, hyenas, buffalo,… Then I went to Nakuru Lake, in this place I could see leopards and a different species of birds. It was amazing! After I went to Masai Mara, it’s a natural reserve, in the same region of Serengeti. I saw a lot of giraffes and some lions. Finally I went to an island called Zanzibar. I did relax total. Basically I sunbathe and swim in the sea. It was FANTASTIC!

MY PART OF THE ORAL

The wedding of Prince William, Duke of Cambridge, and Catherine Middleton took place on 29 April 2011 at Westminster Abbey in London. Prince William, second in the line of succession to Queen Elizabeth II, first met Catherine Middleton in 2001, when both were studying at the University of St Andrews. Their engagement on 20 October 2010 was announced on 16 November 2010.

The build-up to the wedding and the occasion itself attracted much media attention, with the service being broadcast live around the world, and being compared and contrasted in many ways with the 1981 marriage of William's parents, Charles, Prince of Wales and Diana, Princess of Wales. Estimates of the global audience for the wedding range from 300 million to two billion people, whilst 24.5 million watched the event live in the United Kingdom.
