In this film, American boy Dre Parker (Jaden Smith, Will Smiht's son) goes to live in China with his mother. He quickly falls in love with Mey Ying, a girl in his class. But the class bully, Cheng, is jealous of Dre and mey, Dre knows very little karate, and Cheng and his friends constantly attack him.
